  • How many people can the boat accommodate?
    The boat comfortably fits up to 4 passengers, making it perfect for small groups, families, or even a solo fishing adventure.
  • What kind of boat will we be on?
    You’ll be fishing aboard a Pathfinder 2400 TRS, a 24-foot bay boat built for both shallow backcountry waters and inshore excursions. It’s comfortable, spacious, and equipped with top-tier gear to make sure your trip is smooth and successful.
  • What types of fishing trips do you offer?
    We offer a variety of trips, including: Backcountry Fishing – Perfect for targeting jacks, snapper, cobia, and permit in calm, shallow waters. Tarpon Fishing – Chase one of the most exciting sport fish in the world. These trips run seasonally. Custom Charters – Tailored trips based on your fishing goals and preferences.
  • Can we keep the fish we catch?
    Of course! At the end of your charter, Captain Ryan will expertly fillet your fish, pack the fillets in ziplock bags, and even suggest the best spots to cook your catch.
  • Do I need to bring my own fishing gear?
    Nope! We provide all the fishing gear, bait, and tackle you’ll need. We also provide the fishing license.
  • What should I bring on the trip?
    We recommend bringing: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat Drinks and snacks (BYOB is welcome!) A light jacket or windbreaker (just in case) We will provide water and ice for the coolers.
  • Is the trip family-friendly?
    Absolutely! Our trips are perfect for anglers of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re introducing your kids to fishing or chasing that bucket list tarpon, we make sure everyone has a great time.
  • What happens if the weather is bad?
    Safety is our top priority. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll either reschedule your trip or provide a full refund. Weather cancellations are made at the captain’s discretion, with as much advance notice as possible.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Weather-Related Cancellations: Captain Ryan reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trip if inclement weather makes it unsafe to be on the water. In such cases, you’ll have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. Guest-Initiated Cancellations: You can cancel your trip up to 48 hours before departure for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable. We understand stuff happens! If something comes up, just reach out to us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to work with you.
  • Where does the boat depart from?
    We’ll meet at Beach Weekend Marina, located at 5710 Overseas Highway, Key West, Florida. The marina is actually on Stock Island, just a short drive from downtown Key West. There’s plenty of free parking, clean bathrooms, and a ship store where you can grab any last-minute necessities. Additional directions will be provided upon booking!
  • Can I bring my own food and drinks?
    Yes! We encourage guests to BYOB 9including alcoholic drinks if desired), as well as snacks and food to enjoy during the trip. We will provided iced coolers as well as bottled water.
